Ubuhle Buka Zioni and World Gospel Power House proudly brings you the 1st Annual Zion Music Awards (AZMA 2013). The Annual Zion Music Awards
is an event that seeks to celebrate and promote Zion music and award the groups
and individuals that are contributing towards the growth of this genre while
celebrating the diversity in the music.
OBJECTIVES
- To improve the standard of
Zion music and the well-being of the recording groups
- To formalize the business so
it benefits the groups and has an impact in the economy of South Africa.
- To
create an environment that will encourage unity and cohesion amongst the groups

WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO ENTER
• Entries are open to all Zion
recording groups (church choirs, community choirs, mix and/or one gender
choirs), producers, recording companies, video directors and composers.
•
Groups
from outside the borders of South Africa are also welcome to participate in the
AZMAs.
•
Zion
soloists are also welcome to enter the AZMAs
•
Member/s
of a group/solo artist must belong in a particular Zion church
• AZMAs are for only Zion
Acapella Music, no instrumental works will be accepted.
•
For
this first installment of the awards we are looking at all works that was
released from the January 2011.
