The making of UBZ Izwi Lamakholwa volume 1

It has been said a million times that 2010 is a year of miracles and suprises and now i can also testiify to that. For the first time in Alexandra and maybe in South Africa, having 10 different Zion churches in one album. Yes, it is happening!! Ubuhle Buka Zioni is busy cooking up a compilation album which will feature one song each from 10 different churches, you get all Zion styles of singing in one album. These churches are the same churches that were involved in a choir competition held by Amahlengethwa Osindiso church in Zioni in 2009, 01 August. While people were still getting over the excitement of the whole event, now we are preparing something even more explosive. Each and everyone of these churches had prepared thoroughly so not to be the weakest link in the whole album, so people can expect an uplifting album for them to sing along to and also get lifted spiritually from it. It is an experience to remember for many of the first timers in the recording booth, some could not even hide their excitement of being behind the microphone that they still calling to find out how the project was coming along. It was a walk in the park for some of the experienced campaigners like Nkululeko Gazu famously known as "Gee" as he and his choir had a few glitches as compared to most of their counterparts. Having one of the most talented and young local producers on the production desk, one can expect a close to perfect end product. Trinity Mohlamme has worked with a lot of big stars in the music business, although this was his first time dealing with this type of genre his experience and knowledge of music has made it easy for him to quickly adapt to the new environment. "I have never worked with so many talented people in one choir, i have always perceived Zion churches as people who are not that artistic but since doing this project i have been made to eat my words." said Trinity with a smile in his face. Take 10 talented and dedicated Zion churches, add a good organisation structure of the UBZ then top it of with a creative young producer you are sure to get magic. So we are urging people to support this initiative and buy the album upon it's release so they can can us in our mission to save souls through the music of God.

Churches that are featured in this album: Japan (Umqhele Wameva), St. Messias (Abanqobi), The New Jerusalema Apostolic, The New Baptist Apostolic, Impumelelo Yabasha combined choir, Christian (Amaphikelela), The Christian Church (Buslot), Ukukhanya kwe Holy Spirit, uMthombo Ka-Jakobe (Amahunqu) and the host church Amahlengethwa Osindiso.
