2nd UBZ Choir Competition 2010 Gallery

On the 7th of August 2010, Ubuhle Buka Zioni hosted the 2nd UBZ Choir Competition which was held at the Eastbank Hall, Alexandra. This event features Zion churches and choirs who compete for prize money and the most important rotational trophy.

This year's edition was huge in choir attendance and audience compared to the first one. This was a motivation for the UBZ management as it meant that the event was growing in popularity. This event is not just about choirs getting on stage and singing but it is about getting zion churches from all over South Africa together and worshiping. It is about growing and strengthening relationships between these churches in order for Ubuhle Buka Zioni to fulfill its mission which is to unite, educate, empower and grow the zion brand. We had a television crew from a show on Soweto TV called Apo-Zion, who came to cover this event.
